There’s a story here I am sure. Three guys don’t get dressed up in matching outfits, make up and boas without a very good reason.
Susan says, “If you want to get close to your audience, to get them ‘on your side’, telling a story about yourself is a good choice. Let’s say, for the sake of argument, that you are one of these guys. Telling the story of the choice you made to show a side of yourself (in public it would seem) means that you have a either a lot of courage, a devil may care attitude, or another darn good reason. If you choose to let your audience in on the secret, you will win a few hearts and minds.”
Lucia says, “I watched these guys practice their moves before going on stage. They looked to me to be having a blast without a care in the world. They didn’t seem to be concerned about the mobs of people walking by. I admired their panache. If I used this photo to reveal something of myself, it would be to show the opposite what’s depicted by these three. I’m not a performer. I‘m more of a behind-the-scenes kind of gal. I have to admit that even taking this photo was difficult for me. Think about it. Although I’m behind the camera, I need to put myself ‘out there’, in a way, to capture what I see.”
