Pugs are most useful aren’t they? Just a glimpse and you’re smiling, aren’t you? So let’s make use of this guy.

Susan says, “What comes immediately to mind is a story about the power of big dreams. This little pug certainly has dreamt large. And look where it has taken him. He is the star of his own Hollywood movie. Well maybe he’s just a booth at a small town fair. But he looks so pleased with his transformation from (some might say, ugly) ordinary pug into a flying ace with his own plane sporting sparkly wheels. I am sure there are many stories that could be assisted and enhanced by this photo such as: beauty is in the eye of the beholder, don’t leave home without the proper safety gear, stand up for what you believe in, never mind the nay sayers…”

Lucia says, “When I saw this scene, the first thing that came to my mind was Snoopy and his Sopwith Camel. I know, a pug isn’t exactly a beagle, but cute and funny nonetheless. I love the expression on the dog’s face. He looks so wistful. I think Susan is right, he’s dreaming of the wild blue yonder as he waits patiently to start his engine. There’s a story for you – a flying pug. The images it conjures up are endless.”

The purpose of this series is to encourage presenters to use both stories and photos to build engagement and memory, better yet to combine photos and stories for a very powerful impact. What story to do you see here?
