Susan says, “Magical! I love this photo for the shiny mystery of the drums on a dark night. And what unusual drums these are – translucent and yet reflective. You can see all the clasps and clips that makes these polished cylinders into drums. Doesn’t it make you want to indulge in the night and dance with abandon? In a presentation this photo could illustrate or support a story of ideas lost in noise, or the importance of rhythm, beat or cadence to bring people together. How would you use this photo to illustrate a story?”
Lucia says, “Yes, magical is what I had in mind when I created this composition. I was so taken by the high contrast between the light and dark areas that I decided to make the photo black and white. The lack of color seems to enhance the illusion that light is emanating from within the drums.”
A picture is so much more powerful than plain text and a story with a photo is more powerful still. We encourage you to use photos and stories in your presentations.
