Susan says, “I just love this photo. It is the craziest mash-up of two things that have no obvious relationship. This smiling goat should, in theory, have no use for the exercise tampoline – at least for its intended use which is to help humans bounce off extra pounds. Yet he has found the perfect a way for a goat to make use of a trampoline. Doesn’t he look pleased with himself? I think this photo has great potential for use in presentations. For example, what better way to underscore the benefit of thinking outside the box as this clever goat has done? Humor is the greatest gift a presenter can bring to her audience – and this made me laugh. If you begin with laughter, your audience will be much more open to what you have to offer.”
Lucia says, “I like that Susan called this a crazy mash-up. It’s exactly what compelled me to take the photo. First the surprise – it took a second to compute what I was seeing – and then the chuckle that followed made this scene something I couldn’t resist. I think it’s that element of catching your audience off guard, especially with humor, that will make them sit up and take notice.”
