Today we begin a new weekly series with tips and ideas on how to visually portray abstract concepts. We call it Seeing Ideas: The Minds Eye.  And lookee here: an amazing visual representation of this concept ….

What we are after with this series is to demonstrate that it is possible to visualize the abstract. This is an important skill for presenters, because as we have stressed again and again, visuals make the brain connection where text doesn’t. If you want to make a deep connection and be remembered, you must use visuals.  We hope that you will discover that rather than putting aphorisms or quotes from the quote king himself – Albert Einstein* – on your presenter slide, you will give visuals a try.

Stay with us for this Thursday blog series and see what we pull off.  Ideas and contributions are always welcome.

*Have you found that Einstein is the go to source for great quotes? Like: “Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is not to stop questioning.” The man was a true genius who understood words and numbers. Hmmmm, now how would we visualize that concept…..
