Yesterday, I posted an extreme close up of a bee gathering pollen. As you might recall, I mentioned the several attempts and patience it took to get what I wanted. At that time, I also tried different shots. Here we see a bee at the center of a thistle. Because I used a short depth of field, the focus falls off all the way around the bee putting it in the spotlight. I especially like the second bee coming for a landing just in the frame in the lower right, adding motion to an otherwise static image. If you are so inclined, please like or share this post.
