63/365 It’s all about light, isn’t it? I was on a walk with my dog when I was attracted to the light hitting this azalea flower. I moved in close to capture the early morning sunlight shining through the petals on the right, with the ones on the left illuminated from above. Notice how the shadows of the filaments hit the petal on the lower left, showing us that the sun is still low on the horizon. If the sun were higher in the sky, this would be a far less dramatic photo, with much less contrast, and fewer shadows.
