As promised, here is another Opal Creek splash, created with Tucker’s help. This one looks like an abstract painting. Let’s look more closely at different sections of the image. In the lower right we see where the rock has just plunged into the creek causing the beginning of ripples. In the upper right we clearly see flower petals floating on the surface of the opal colored water and the rocks below. This whole section looks as if a painter created distinct, well-defined lines. On the left we see the white of the splash and how it has disturbed the surface of the water. Here, it looks as if an artist smeared the paint, blurring our view of the rock below.
