In keeping with the last few days, I continue today with an extreme close up. For me, spring means tulips. I didn’t make it out to the fields of tulips in Woodburn, Oregon this year, so I focused on a single one in my yard. I spent a little time taking shots from different angles. I decided to post this overhead looking into the blossom instead of an iconic side view. Again, as in the last few days, I used a shallow depth of field to create a blurry background. It’s purple and green creates a lovely contrast to the reddish-orange tulip.
