I chose a shallow depth of field to capture a sharp, extreme close-up of the sculpture with an intentional out of focus view up the street. I like this composition a lot, because of the activity in the background. Although it’s blurry, I think it’s the real “focus” of the composition. The sculpture provides an anchor for the scene.
