A while ago I was working with shadows, but wasn’t sure about my results. Then the other day, a fellow photographer showed me one of his photos using shadows. Seeing his work gave me the courage to post one of mine. There’s a starkness to this that is intensified by the texture in the sidewalk. It gives the composition an interesting gritty feel.
