Breathtaking sights can be seen through a small airplane window. While flying out of Portland, I took several shots of Mt. Hood bathed in early morning sunlight. Many of them are clear views of the mountain. Although not a clear view, I like this one because the plane’s wing creates a frame within a frame. I also like the quirkiness of it, and how it intensifies my point of view through the airplane window. Maybe you can imagine me in my delight as I lean forward in my seat to capture the way the soft light hits the mountain.
