The contrast between the prominent dark tree framing the scene and the faint triangular lines of the bridge in the fog caught my eye. The addition of the rowers was a bonus. Seconds earlier, they were further out in the water. They were moving fast, so I missed my chance to capture the fast moving rowers where I first saw them. I was unhappy that I had missed that moment. After downloading the photo from my camera, I had a good look and liked what I saw. I like that the rowers are almost out of the picture, with their wake adding a subtle sense of movement to the whole scene.
