I see this as a quasi-abstract photo with a gradual transformation from light at the top to dark at the bottom of the frame. The blurry trees in the distance add ghostly shades of gray to the lighter section. Although the dark trees on the left stand out in sharp focus, our eye moves toward the human element barely visible in the fog. It’s this tiny figure that brings life to the larger scene.
