Old trains make wonderful subjects to photography. They offer a plethora of opportunities to create compelling scenes. In this photo, I moved in close to capture the different shapes – triangles, circles, rectangles, etc. – that make up the wheel-assembly. The bar across the wheel adds strength to the photo, and is a leading line to the other wheel hiding in the background.
