I captured this simple scene thinking it would make a nice abstract. I guess it depends on how you look at it. You could see it for what it is – a tree full of blackbirds in silhouette against the late afternoon sky. Or you could see it as shapes and lines. The major shape of the tree, created by individual lines (branches) and splotches (blackbirds), divides the scene with a curved edge against the blue background. How do you see it? Do you see something else?
