This festive, old Plymouth Valiant was parked on Alberta Street last night. At first the lights were not on. Just the sled sticking out of the back seat with unlit lights wrapped around it made me laugh. While I was taking some shots of it, the owner came over and turned on the lights. He said he didn’t know how he was going to prop up the lights until he went into his garage and noticed the sled. A perfect solution to his dilemma, don’t you think? As a photo, I wanted to give merely a glimpse of the decorated car. So I composed the scene to focus on the sled and to look through the jumble of lights to the steering wheel the street beyond it.
