Sometimes I just happen to turn my head and I see a simple composition in my mind’s eye. In this case, I looked down and was delighted to see the delicate autumn leaves on the rough concrete. Although, there’s a lot of contrast in the textures, there isn’t much in the colors. It looks as if the fading leaves are beginning to blend in with the ground.
