Here’s a photo of early morning in downtown Portland. (It has a European look to it, don’t you think?) I was glad to capture the empty streets before the bustling crowds descend on this corner, now we have a clear view of the leading lines. I wasn’t sure about how to frame this photo. Should I move in close to the posts or pull back? I’m happy with my final decision. I like that the wet bricks in the foreground take up most of the photo. The lines formed by the bricks lead to the post, which in turn lead to the street and off into the distance.
