As I stood across the river from downtown, I positioned myself so I could catch the sun’s ray on the monolithic building Portlanders call “big pink”. This was just before sunset and everything had turned a sepia color. The car at the bottom of the frame, where the sunlight reflects off the rear window was a nice unintended addition.
