Yesterday, I went to the People’s Climate March in Portland. I got there a little early and watched as people arrived at the waterfront from all direction. A couple even came across the river on kayaks. There were many signs and costumes in the crowd. As I looked across to the Steel Bridge some participants dropped a sign admonishing anyone from using the river to transport coal, oil, or gas. I tried a close up of the sign, but decided to zoom out to include the geese bobbing in the water nearby. After all, they are part of what we’re working to protect.
