I framed this photo in my mind’s eye as my friend, Tucker, made his way down to the beach. I loved the scene, but my camera was packed away in my bag. Luckily, Tuck stopped when I called to him and we talked as I got out my camera. I was able to make the photo I had imagined after he turned back to continue on his way. I’m grateful to have gotten a second chance at what I originally saw, even though I wasn’t ready to capture it at first. This was a rare opportunity. Usually, a photo op like this is gone in an instant.
