My intention was to capture the reflections in the glass building. Then I changed my mind. Instead of filling the frame with the distortions in the glass, I zoomed out to include the realistic, sharp image of the Portlandia statue further back and to the right. I felt it improved the photo by adding depth and giving a sense of place. By the way, you may notice the distorted reflection behind the statue creates a nice connection to the main wall of glass.
