I believe that we are all curious by nature. Even the dullest among us wants to know what is going on? What have they got that I don’t? Why is everyone looking over there?

Susan says, “Understanding human nature is a great help when you are presenting. If you can make your audience just a bit curious about what you are up to and where you are going, they will be much more attentive. Think of the mystery novel. Is any genre more popular? And isn’t that popularity all about curiosity. Who dunnit? Look at at the photo above. Aren’t you the least little bit curious about what these two have discovered that is practically pulling them into the rose bushes?”

Lucia says, “Leading lines in a photo draw your eye to a point of interest. Here, by taking a photo of a person taking a photo, I created an imaginary line from me to him and on to what ever he’s photographing. I like this photo because the line not only draws your eye to the subject, but also, as Susan said, it makes you wonder what it is that has caught the attention of the couple. Is it a rose? Or a bug? A butterfly? It makes your imagination go to work.”
