Man sitting on a bench, under an umbrella drawing.

I almost missed him. I was looking at the reflections in the pond and wondering if this scene would make an interesting photo. It was raining, so the drops on the water were creating a lovely pattern. Then I noticed the guy sitting under his umbrella. He blended into the scenery so beautifully, he was almost camouflaged completely. Being nosey, I zoomed to see what he was doing. Looking at his phone while in a beautiful garden? No. He was drawing.

Now, I want to be clear. I  feel this photo tells a story. I’ve inserted myself in this story and it has to do with viewpoint. Funny how that works.  He was drawing a scene from his perspective, while I made a photo from mine.
