It was a beautiful sunny day at the Oregon coast, when the fog rolled in and changed everything. To me, it was still a beautiful day, only different. I find fog and its effects beautiful and magical.
In this scene the woman running with her dog has become a silhouette in black and white. Now they are simply shapes moving through the fog.
A Faux Black and White Photo
I must tell you, this is not an intentional black and white photo, but the fog has taken the color out of the scene. If the foreground, not yet engulfed in fog, weren’t gray sand, there would be color in this photo.

Notice the slack leash. The dog is keeping pace with her human, not pulling on the leash. Good dog.
