Let’s end the work-week with a burst of bright colors. I created this dramatic effect by positioning myself so the dahlia was backlit by the setting sunlight. Then I moved in close and low to fill the frame with its vibrant petals. I want you to know, this didn’t happen at first glance. I spent some time moving around, looking at this flower from many angles. As with anything, it’s amazing what you’ll get if you take the time to really look.
