It’s simple. It has a small subject in a large negative space. It’s backlit making the subject a silhouette. It was shot with a fast shutter speed to stop the action – drops of water in the air and the boy in mid-step. Yet there’s movement – the fountain splashes water as the boy runs toward the edge of the frame. These are many of the reasons I’m happy with this photo. What do you see?
