Finding an abstract painting in nature.
While walking on the Tilikum crossing the other day, I looked over the railing to see a field of dried grass. It was uninspiring to see a typical mid-summer scene. Then I realized that if I zoomed in, I could create an abstract photo. I filled the frame with color. Now, instead of a field, I was looking at a painting. I became excited but the simple duotone of yellow with splashes of darker hues. It was a pleasant surprise. I could see how you could get inspiration from the most unassuming settings.
