This photo, the third in a triptych of Lucia’s Zoo Lights images, is really a perfect candidate for our on-going series on Seeing Ideas.
Susan says, “This photo is an absolutely on-the-nose example of seeing ideas. It’s a train made visible because, yes, it’s made entirely of light. This is a sweet, child-like image that could be used to great effect in a adult conversation about trains and transportation. I find the lavender steam pouring out of the smoke stake to be a wonderful bonus. Come on, doesn’t everyone like choo-choos?”
Lucia says, “I agree with Susan about the adult conversation about trains and transportation. Let’s add wanderlust for far away places to that dialogue. Who doesn’t like the sound of a distant train in the night which triggers the imagination to dream of journeys to distant lands? This scene certainly congers up those images for me. You?”
